Waldsteinia ternata

Waldsteinia ternate is a shade-loving plant with tiny yellow saucer-shaped flowers that bloom from early spring to late summer. Because these plants spread slowly but are not intrusive, they can be used to cover large or small areas. A semi-evergreen groundcover perennial that develops a thick mat of glossy purple leaves that imitate strawberry leaves. Once set up, Waldsteinia becomes drought-resistant.
