Stachys byzantina 'Silky Fleece', otherwise known as Lamb?s Ears, for their soft and fluffy foliage is a textural joy in gardens. Dwarf variety that produces dense and evergreen groundcover foliage, with striking plum-purple upright blooms in summer that bees and pollinators love. Foliage has a creeping habit, slowly growing over alpine troughs, rockeries and path edging, as well as borders. Stachys byzantina 'Silky Fleece' is a compact, hardy perennial that will fill gaps.
