It is a robust, deciduous, suckering shrub with arching stems and lance-shaped, dark grey-green leaves, as well as brown, peeling bark. Rostrinucula is a unique addition to the garden, as it thrives in a shady spot where its stunning beauty will always draw attention. It's ideal for adding late-summer appeal to borders and exotic planting schemes, or for growing as a patio showpiece plant. From August through October, long, draping panicles of vibrant purple-pink blooms appear, providing a stunning cascading impression. Height and spread: 180 cm (6').
