From July to August, the redcurrant 'Laxton's Number One' yields abundant crops of high-quality fruits that are borne in lengthy strings. It is a traditional variant that is still commonly grown. This well-liked type blooms a little later than other varieties, preventing frost destruction. It's also known for being resistant to most mildew strains, making harvests more dependable. The scarlet, lustrous fruits of it are tiny but tasty. Height and spread: 120 cm (47).
