Throughout the summer months, upright spikes display waxy, double flowers in a stunning purplish-pink hue ? a colour you won?t find easily elsewhere. The slender, lance-shaped leaves form a quiet background to the blooms. Ideal for containers or warm borders, Polianthes NCYU Love is a sensory delight. Cut some for a vase and it will fill the house with fragrance.Polianthes tuberosa requires a minimum temperature of 15C (59F) so it is ideal for a heated greenhouse or conservatory. It can also be grown outdoors in patio containers or sheltered sunny borders, if it is lifted and stored frost-free over winter.
