Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Prime Time' brings sustained summer and autumn colour with its spectacular spikes of lavender-purple blooms rising above aromatic, silvery-green foliage all the way from July through to October.Celebrated for flowering earlier and longer than many traditional varieties, these dense flower spikes attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators while adding vertical accents and texture to perennial schemes. Unlike other varieties that tend to flop and become ungainly, its strong, upright habit stays neat throughout the season, creating a striking yet graceful presence that partners beautifully with other late flowering perennials such as rudbeckia, crocosmia and grasses.
