One of our favourite climbing annuals in a gorgeous selection of sizzling colours with characteristic dark eyes. Thunbergia alata are vigorous twining climbers that will swiftly cover obelisks and trellis to bring height to summer borders and patio containers. Alternatively, let their long stems cascade from a hanging basket in a waterfall of colour. This reliable climber is generally grown as a quick growing annual in the UK, but grown in a warm conservatory, it will remain an evergreen perennial.From June through October, these low-maintenance plants will consistently yield brilliant bright colourful blossoms, regardless of the summer's heat, and without the necessity for dead-heading!
