This hardy Rose-of-Sharon shrub boasts a robust, upright and bushy habit with fresh green foliage that contrasts beautifully with its striking flowers up to around 15–20 cm across, giving garden borders and containers a brilliant splash of colour.Bred in the UK as part of the Walberton’s Lunar series, it combines the hardiness of Hibiscus syriacus with the long flowering season of Hibiscus paramutabilis resulting in a reliably hardy plant that produces exceptionally large, show-stopping blooms over an extended period. What’s more, the sterile blooms deliver an uninterrupted succession of flowers, keeping the plant in impressive bloom for far longer than most.Ultimate height: 3m (9.8ft).
