Galanthus woronowii is an unusual, award-winning snowdrop with distinctive features, and is perfect for awakening the garden in the late winter and early spring, when little else is happening. Also known as the ?Giant Snowdrop?, Galanthus woronowii is bigger and bolder than our native snowdrop in both foliage and flowers, but it remains a petite plant that grows to only 15cm in height. Unlike the slender leaves of our native snowdrop, Galanthus woronowii produces broader, vivid green, glossy leaves which contrast beautifully against the classic white flowers. Perfect for planting in small groups where it will provide effective ground cover between groups of emerging spring perennials. Plant under deciduous trees or in a raised bed or rockery in light shade. This snowdrop will naturalise readily to form larger drifts year after year.Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 10cm (4in).
