Filipendula hexapetala

This exciting Dropwort looks magical in wildlife, cut flower and cottage gardening schemes. From June until September, it boasts a flurry of small cream blooms, that are borne upon airy green stems, amongst a full mound of feathery foliage. Happy to progress in semi shade, this striking Filipendula is a magnet for pollinating insects and will develop in height to 50cm, along with a spread of 30cm.
