Euonymus europaeus 'Red Cascade'

Deciduous shrub that is popular in the UK used as hedgerows in many growing situations, Euonymus europaeus 'Red Cascade' sets itself apart for its dazzling seed heads. Its nickname, the Spindle Bush, comes from its previous use for making spindles. Large and almost unrecognisable in summer, in autumn is where the bright scarlet foliage comes into its own. Small flowers will fade away through the seasons, giving way for corked wings, followed by small brightly colour fruits. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 2.5m (8.2').
