Cone shaped flower heads sit firmly, supported by a collar of the thorn-like bracts. Eryngium alpinum will give you a border focal point like no other, adding textures, colours and forms not seen on other perennials. Perfect for planting in bunches between other petite perennials, in a sunny border spot that drains well. For those in coastal areas, it thrives in the expected conditions, as well as making for a showstopping addition to cut flower arrangements. Height: 75cm (30). Spread: 45cm (18).
