This distinctive bleeding heart forms a generous clump of striking golden-yellow foliage, creating a bright focal point where many plants can struggle to make an impact. In late spring and early summer, arching stems carry strings of pendulous, heart-shaped flowers with vivid pink outer petals and small white inner petals, producing a beautiful contrast against the glowing leaves. The combination of unusual foliage and classic bleeding-heart flowers makes this variety particularly valuable for woodland-style planting, shaded borders and cottage gardens. Its arching stems add movement, while the finely divided foliage provides texture long before and after flowering.
