Copper Beech (Hedging)

Copper beech's lavish dark purple-bronze foliage adds colour, curiosity, and a remarkable backdrop to other plants. The leaves turn a crisp copper brown in the autumn and are mostly preserved on the tree over the winter, providing privacy. These are shed when leaves sprout the following spring. Copper beech is simple to maintain and only needs to be clipped once or twice a year to keep its structure, forming a dense hedge that can be kept at any height up to 12 metres (39ft). Hedging doesn't have to be green, especially when you have variants like these! They are supplied at a height of 30-45cm (12-16in) in 2-litre pots.
