Clematis armandii

Clematis armandii is a vigorous evergreen climber perfect for screening unsightly walls or fences. In early spring before the rest of the garden has woken up it is covered in masses of scented white flowers and the new foliage has an attractive bronze tinge. It is prone to frost damage so is best planted in a sheltered spot. Flowers March-April. Height: 5m (15'). Spread: 3m (10'). Pruning group: 1
