The dark purple-blue blooms of this pretty deciduous shrub contrast beautifully with the silvery foliage of this much loved Caryopteris. Vertical stems with grey-green leaves bear clusters of tiny flowers with spider-like anthers in August and September. Caryopteris ?Dark Knight? has an upright habit which is ideal for dry, sunny borders and will grow happily in difficult soils, tolerating periods of drought. It partners well with Mediterranean and prairie planting schemes as well as suiting gravel gardens and patio pots. Great for adding a splash of colour to your garden as many other varieties are starting to fade and will attract plenty of butterflies and bees.Height: 90cm (36in). Spread: 1.2m (47in).
