Allium nevskianum is a distinctive variety that is rarely seen, offering an unusual combination of flower and foliage colour. Its low growing habit is ideal for planting in the front of borders or dotted through gravel gardens, filling gaps between emerging perennials with early interest. A pair of broad blue-green leaves gives rise to short and sturdy stems supporting globular flower heads with numerous pinkish-red flowers. Allium nevskianum is not only a visual delight but also a magnet for pollinators like bees and butterflies, adding wildlife value to its aesthetic appeal.
