Spherical heads of tightly packed, very light mauve, almost white blooms on towering, sturdy stems that make a great vertical accent in cottage garden borders. Blooming in June and July, Allium ampeloprasum is also excellent for cut flower gardens and naturalising in meadows. Clusters of dazzling white, star-shaped, long-lasting blooms which are great for cutting. An unusual yet stunning allium from the mountains of Kazakhstan. Spherical heads of star-like, pink-white blooms appear in May and June on short stems from between a pair of remarkable broad, glaucous leaves; themselves a spectacular feature. A vigorous and delightful little allium, producing compact clusters of vibrant yellow, star-like blooms from late spring onwards ? guaranteed to cheer up any part of the garden.
