Agapanthus ?Zambezi? is a spectacular variety combining long lasting flowers with stunning foliage, offering a theatrical display all season.Fountains of broad, strap-like leaves are streaked with creamy-yellow variegation and bordered in gold. The foliage alone makes a dazzling display cascading from containers or along the front of borders, offering excellent colour and textural contrast with other perennials. Further drama is added in July and August, when globes of starry, violet flowers rise above the foliage on stiff stems creating swathes of colour that boosts the late summer scene. This low maintenance and reliable perennial brings a stylish display over a long season for very little effort. Ultimate height: 90cm (35in) Ultimate spread: 75cm (30in).
