Naturally dwarf, Grape Pixie™ Collection grows only 30-50cm a year, making it perfect for growing on a small terrace or balcony.Grape Pixie™ Collection includes three world-renowned, red and white varieties, so you can grow your own selection of vintage wines, even in the smallest of growing spaces!Unlike traditional vines that can take up to three years to produce grapes, the Pixie grape begins producing small grapes in its first year. Not only that, but it continues to flower and bear fruit through summer and into autumn! Pixie™ grapes have naturally short stems and put energy into growing flowers rather than tendrils. This results in many small fruit clusters, each about 10cm on average. With its extended flowering season and dwarf proportions, Grape Pixie™ Collection is suitable for all-year-round growing in small greenhouses. Easy to look after, this low-maintenance grape is perfect for those starting out on their wine-growing journey.Height of cordon trained vine: 60cm (2ft). It produces young, fruity wines with a cherry and raspberry bouquet that age to more complex ‘vegetal’ aromas.Grape Pixie™ 'Cabernet Franc' - Dating back to 18th century, Cabernet Franc is one of the most widely planted black grape varieties in the world, producing pale red wines with a peppery aroma.Grape Pixie™'Riesling' - A classic German wine grape, and one of the top three white wine varieties. It bears sweet, golden yellow fruits that produce wines with a flowery aroma.
